The leading global blockchain provider for Web3 sports and entertainment, Chiliz, announced that sports NFT company Blockasset has committed to building on the new Chiliz Blockchain. As part of the agreement, Chiliz made an equity investment into Blockasset. They join a list of partners that include Wayne Rooney and Michael Bisping.

Blockasset joins live streaming provider FanFest and fan engagement start-up LiveLike, who recently joined the Chiliz ecosystem to build web3 products and services such as offering “watch to earn” blockchain-backed collectibles to broadcasters and media partners. Working with Chiliz Labs will allow Blockasset to leverage Chiliz and Socios.com’s network to provide utility and cross activations for Fan Token holders and athlete token holders alike.
Chiliz will continue to onboard more enterprise level projects in the coming months. This will include NFT ticketing pilots and Web3 infrastructure partners building for sports and entertainment.
