Football legend Lionel Messi has signed on to join the Fantasy Football NFT trading game Sorare as a brand ambassador. Messi, the PSG and Argentina footballer, will help Sorare set new standards for connecting fans and players. In addition to his new ambassador role, Messi is also now an investor in Sorare after taking an equity stake in the French company as part of the deal.

The brand ambassador signing is the second major one for Messi in the sports blockchain/NFT space this year. In March, Messi signed a multi-year agreement with Fan Token platform to become their first ever global brand ambassador.
