UDINE, OCTOBER 25TH: Udinese Calcio is going to launch its official $UDI Fan Token starting tomorrow through Socios.com, the engagement platform used by leading sport clubs worldwide to interact, award and offer exclusive perks and unique experiences to their fans. The Udinese partnership with Socios and Chiliz was announced in February.
The $UDI Fan Tokens will offer Udinese fans worldwide access to a new world full of opportunities, from interacting with the team, to participating in decisions by voting in polls, having access to exclusive content and promotions and having the right to be awarded with prizes, official signed merch, free tokens and unique experiences.
Fan Token Purchase Limits for the first 2 Days
25,000 $UDI will be available on the Socios.com app starting from Wednesday October 26th at 13:00 at just 2€ each. The FTO will take place over a 3 day period, in 3 different waves. During the first two waves, the number of Fan Tokens each fan can get is capped, to make sure that everyone gets a chance to participate in this new opportunity.
Wave 1: starts at 13:00 (CEST) on Wednesday, October 26th and lasts 24 hours. The purchase limit is 5 $UDI Fan Tokens per fan.
Wave 2: starts at 13:00 (CEST) on Thursday, October 27th and lasts 24 hours. The purchase limit is 25 $UDI Fan Tokens per fan.
Wave 3: starts at 13:00 (CEST) on Friday, October 28th and lasts 24 hours. During the final wave there’s no purchase limit.
Draw to Win a Signed Jersey
Fans that purchase at least (1) $UDI Fan Token can immediately participate in a binding poll to choose the motivational message that will be printed on the team’s warm-up shirt. Voters also enter a draw to win a jersey signed by all the players of the First Team.
One $UDI Fan Token is all fans need to vote in this poll and in future polls launched by Udinese on the app. That’s because Fan Tokens are never spent and never expire.
The more Fan Tokens that fans own, the higher the weight of their vote and their chance to win prizes.
Over 500 Polls in 2022
During 2022 Socios is planning to launch more than 500 polls to give Fan Token Holders the possibility to vote to choose kit designs, jersey numbers, celebration songs and much more. According to Socios.com estimates, more than 17,000 users on the platform will have received rewards and gifts related to their teams by the end of the year.
By launching its Fan Token, Udinese is joining the global football giants FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester City, Juventus, AC Milan, Flamengo and River Plate, among others. Outside of football, other Socios Fan Token partners include UFC and PFL (mixed martial arts), Formula 1 teams Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Orlen, the tennis Davis Cup and some of the main clubs of global sports.
