31 NASCAR Cup drivers will be featured in the 2022 NASCAR official digital collectibles trading card drop on December 13th.
NASCAR is set to drop its first officially licensed digital collectible trading cards. The collectibles featuring 31 NASCAR drivers will launch on the Candy marketplace on December 13th. Each driver comes in 3 rarities and has an edition size of 404 ICONs. ICONs are Candy’s digital collectibles featuring athletes. Here’s a closer look at the NASCAR’s digital collectibles!

The Cards will include each Driver’s 2022 Season Stats

Called the 2022 NASCAR ICON Driver Series, NASCAR’s digital collectible trading cards come as blind packs. As is typical with most trading cards, collectors won’t know who is included in the packs they are buying. The cards will feature 31 NASCAR Cup Series drivers with their 2022 season stats at the back.

Petty, Yarborough, Allison & Roberts ultra-rare ICON Inserts

While they come in three rarities, a select few are ultra-rare with Historic ICON Insert. These will feature one of four iconic drivers: Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Fireball Roberts or Richard Petty. Only 40 of these are available!

Three different packages will be available: Start your Engines, Pole Position and Winner Circle. The first will cost $25 and contain 3 ICONS. A total of 1,843 of these packs will be available for sale. The second, consists of 7 ICONs and costs $50. Only 942 of these will be sold. Finally, with only 20 mints, Winner Circle is rarest. These will have 22 ICONS, including 1 guaranteed Historical ICON, 7 Epics, and 11 Rare ICONs. Naturally, these come at a higher price, going for $500.

Rare Kyle Larson and Richard Petty Asphalt Bust holders get early access

The collectibles will go on sale on December 13th on the Candy marketplace. All Rare Kyle Larson or Richard Petty Asphalt Bust holders will get early access starting at 12 pm ET. The general public sale will begin at 1 pm ET.

Tony Stewart and Wendall Scott NFTs launched earlier this year

The upcoming 2022 NASCAR digital collectibles sale on Candy, follows others released earlier this year.  In March, Nifty Gateway released 3D Augmented Reality (AR) NFTs honoring Wendell Scott. Then in August, NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart partnered with Orange Comet to launch NFTs that featured cars from his Cup Series, IndyCar, WoO, SRX and USAC racing career.
