All proceeds of the Man City NFT collection’s sales will go to the Football Club’s official charity, City in the Community.
Premier League powerhouse Manchester City has announced its sixth collaborative NFT drop, I am EMPOWERED, created by Power of Women. The NFT Collaboration is a Celebration of Diversity and Empowerment!
As part of Manchester City’s International Women’s Day 2023 Celebration, this latest collection follows the success of the football club’s previous NFT drops. Subsequently, the football club is continuing to expand its presence and community in the NFT space.
The collaborative digital art drop consists of five unique pieces. The NFTs are titled I Am Powerful, I Am Proud, I Am Fearless, I Am Courage and I Am Resilient. The digital art pieces showcase the passion and diversity of women in football.
Prominent NFT artist, Leah Sams, created the collection in her bold and beautiful signature style. Of significance, the NFT collection features artworks celebrating the passion and diversity of women in football today.
Man City x PUMA Parkhurst kit
Furthermore, the artwork also displays the uniquely designed Man City x PUMA Pankhurst kit range. Obviously, Mancunian Emmeline Pankhurst is the inspiration behind this. Manchester City’s men’s team will wear the kit during their warm-up and walkout at their upcoming Premier League football match. Meanwhile, Manchester City Women will play in the kit for their FA Women’s Super League fixture.
NFT sale proceeds will go to City in the Community Charity
All proceeds of the NFT collection’s sales will go to the Football Club’s official charity, City in the Community. Specifically, the City Girls program will benefit from the funds. This program provides safe spaces for young women to engage in football.
The I am EMPOWERED collection will drop on the OpenSea NFT marketplace on Wednesday March 8th. Manchester City fans, NFT collectors, and art enthusiasts alike can’t wait to get their hands on these unique digital artworks while also supporting a great cause!
