Gaziantep FK is the seventh football club from Turkey to release its Fan Token on Socios.com
GAZİANTEP, FEBRUARY 25TH: Turkish Super League club Gaziantep FK, and Chiliz, the leading global sports blockchain provider have announced that the Gaziantep FK Fan Token, $GFK will be launched on Monday, February 28th, at 11:00 am (CET), 13:00 pm in Gaziantep (Turkey).
Fan Tokens are collectible digital assets that give sports fans across the globe access to a new digital service provided by their favorite clubs through the Socios.com fan influence and rewards app. Benefits for token holders include the right to take part in decision-making processes by voting in polls, access to exclusive discounts and the chance to earn unique prizes and rewards via games, competitions and other features.
Last year, Socios Fan Token partners launched over 300 Fan Polls on the app, with fans voting on kit designs, squad numbers, inspirational messages and other fan-related topics. Up to 5,000 Fan Token holders were rewarded with signed jerseys, match tickets and VIP experiences through the Socios platform. In 2022, Socios goal is to reward over 17,000 users.
In what will be the first Turkey Fan Token Offering (FTO®) of the year, 125,000 $GFK Fan Tokens will be released at 1€ each. As part of the efforts to increase opportunities for fans to benefit from this new launch, Socios has introduced a new three wave release format which spans four days.
The first Fan Poll will be to select the goal song for the team, which will echo through Kalyon Stadium throughout the season. $GFK holders will be able to choose the best song from a selection of options.
Owning one $GFK Fan Token will be enough to vote on this poll and the rest of the polls that Gaziantep FK will be launching on the Socios app in the months ahead, but fans owning more tokens will have a higher influence (each vote is multiplied by the number of tokens owned) and more chances to earn rewards.
