Club Tigres UANL Joins Mexican Football Clubs Chivas, Atlas FC & Santos Laguna In Chiliz Fan Token Offering Plans

Socios is on track to run at least 500 polls this year for its growing community of Fan Token holders, enabling them to influence fan-centric decisions on matters ranging from kit designs to squad numbers and celebration songs. will also reward more fans than ever before with as many as 17,000 users set to watch live games of their favorite clubs in 2022. Tigres History

Founded in 1960 as the team of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) university, Tigres is one of Mexico’s most successful football clubs, having won the Mexican league seven times. In 2020 they conquered the prestigious Concacaf Champions League and went on to reach the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. The Estadio Universitario, where they play their home matches, is known as El Volcán (The Volcano) due to the unique atmosphere created by their passionate fans.

Tigres is the fourth Mexican club to join, with their addition confirming once again the platform’s leadership in the Liga MX, a strategic market for the company.
